Uniroyal NTB Partners with SAM

The Uniroyal Free Soccer Ball Giveaway and Fundraiser for SAM Soccer will begin on Sept. 5th!  Players will receive their certificates from their coaches.  (Coaches, you will receive these certificates at the coaches meeting.)

Announces Timeline for Player Allocations
Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) announced today the details of its player selection process leading into the kickoff of its inaugural season in April 2009. WPS teams will build their rosters through an allocation of U.S. Women’s National Team stars, a draft of international players, combines, additional League drafts and local team tryouts.

Welcome to SAM Soccer!
The Soccer Association of Montgomery is Montgomery County’s newest youth soccer club that offers soccer development programs, recreational programs and competitive leagues at the "classic" level. SAM programs work as building blocks to provide young players the fundamentals needed to prepare them for their next step into the exciting world of soccer.
 
SAM offers developmental programs for children ages 3-8 years old and a Recreation Program for players U7-U17 boys and girls.
 
The first two stages, Pre-Kicks (ages 3-4 yr. old) and Kickers (ages 5-8 yr. old), set the groundwork for young players by teaching them individual soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and social skills.
 
Upon graduating from Pre-Kicks and Kickers, the players then take on the next challenge of Recreational level play.  All soccer activities and games will be centralized at the Maryland SoccerPlex, giving all youth soccer players not only a chance to play on the SoccerPlex fields but also have access to instructional opportunities for both players and coaches.
 
Pre-Kicks, Kickers and the Recreation league prepares the players for the next step in the SAM program. All games and clinics will be held at the 19-field Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD.
 
SAM’s Developmental Programs
 
 
SAM’s Fall Recreational League kicks off in September.  Registration is open!  Open to all players ages U7-U17.
